Kittens in the 70s

I received a new scanner from my parents for Christmas and I have already been scanning all of the old family photos like a mad woman. There will be plenty of gems that I am going to post here over the next few weeks, but for now, feast your eyes on these adorable kittens that my mom's family must have owned in the 1970s. Kitteny goodness.

It's Friday

And it's graduation weekend here in Charlottesville, the time once a year when every hotel is full and unless you are partaking in the festivities, leaving the house is not a very desirable option. So instead my friends and I are leaving town. Destination is yet to be determined, but I'll let you know where we end up. Here's hoping your weekend is calm and restful.

Oh, and just because I can, here's a picture of cats holding hands

Lately I just look at cats on the internet

I'm completely in love with the dreamcats tumblr started by anabela and erin. It's motivating me to take more photos of the scotchinator. But for now she and I are just going to snuggle. Too bad neither she nor I are this photogenic when we're out for the night.

Checking Out the World Outside

Scotch was examining the raining outdoors this morning in the kitchen. I think she's almost starting to lose the memory of her days as an outdoor kitty. She was a lot skinnier then.
