Things I've been wanting to share with someone

This summer there were two posts on BLDGBLOG that really blew me away. They, of course, really had very little to do with architecture.

The first was a post entitled "Pandemonium" And featured the photography of Alexey Titarenko, specifically his series titled "City of Shadows"

BLDGBLOG showed the following image with the following commentary:



But I suppose this is what the world would look like if we could see the residue of everyone who's ever passed through – a vast, multi-limbed creature made of tens of thousands of human bodies, winding its way through streets and buildings, looking for some place to go.


For some reason, that image and sentence just really took me aback.
