Marimekko loveliness

I'm day (errr...night?) dreaming about decorating my new place with lots of Marimekko goodness. Marimekko is certainly one of my favorite things, especially in the category of things that hail from Scandinavia, and I am currently lacking in bold prints and bright colors. Until I can figure out my finances and get moved into the new place, I'm just going to have to gaze at their products longingly.

HAY CPH (And We're back!)

After an insanely long last few weeks, I am finally ready to be back on top of things with this blog. My 60 hour work week forced me to neglect the internet a bit, but hopefully that is all behind me and I can devote a little more time to posting and designing. So...

I am a big fan of adorable salt and pepper shakers and these new ones by Jonathan Adler are so cute. Whales are just so great.

Roost

Roost is a great company with a ton of beautiful furniture and housewares, ranging in everything from wooden pushpins (which I own and love) to lamps of porcelain cast in the shape of an owl. We have so many Roost items in O'Suz and I really wish I could take some home with me.

I'm back + Tom Dixon

So I have had a little bit of a crazy week. Lots of different things going on as I am about to settle into Charlottesville for another year. I think I'm about done with apartment hunting, and glad that I got it started much earlier this time around.

It's been awhile since I've explored Josh Owen's website, and he has some new items up that are pretty cool. Josh Owen is a product designer in Philadelphia who specializes in sleek functional designs. Here's a shot of his triple threat seat, table, and tray:
